Hey Australia, join us by having a Picnic for Change!
On Saturday 7 October, people right across the country will be hosting picnics or BBQs at home, or at local parks and beaches.
We are inviting you to host a picnic with your friends, family and neighbours to have a yarn about the upcoming Voice referendum.
The referendum is an opportunity to say YES to recognising Australia's First Peoples in the Constitution through establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
It's about working towards better outcomes and a better Australia.
Conversations are key to making sure Australians can make an informed decision when it comes time to vote.
With one week between the picnic day and the referendum, this will be a great opportunity to spend time with mates and bring them on the journey to YES.
We’d love you to help us reach as many undecided people as possible.
We’ll keep in touch over the next week and email you some information ahead of your picnic to help with your conversations.
