Prominent Liberal MP Julian Leeser has launched a front-on attack of criticisms of the Voice to parliament by his party leader Peter Dutton and other "No" campaigners, describing their arguments as untrue and misleading.

The former shadow attorney-general and Liberal Indigenous spokesman dismissed claims the advisory body would be legally risky, bureaucratic and costly, while defending "Yes" campaigners from racist attacks.
