THE ULURU DIALOGUES is encouraging supporters to help extend the reach of the new “You’re the Voice” advertisement by making a tax deductable donation to the campaign.
Uluru Dialogues Co-Chair, Professor Megan Davis, said with just over 40 days remaining until Australia heads to the polls to vote in the Constitutional Referendum on a First Nations Voice to parliament that it is critical the powerful ad - produced to the backdrop of singer John Farnham’s legendary song – is seen by every voter in the country.
“We know this ad and its iconic soundtrack can help build the momentum for a yes vote,” Professor Davis said.
“We need to blanket tv screens, social media feeds and every outdoor billboard with its powerful message.
“Our campaign is largely funded by everyday Australians. Every dollar we raise can help to put the ad on more TV screens, in more locations, more often.
“I thank all those individuals who have given already and encourage others to give what they can.
“This is a once in a generation opportunity. ‘History Is Calling’ and with your help we can get a yes vote and improve the lives of First Nations peoples.”
