Associate Prof. Sean Brennan

Associate Professor Sean Brennan is Director of the Indigenous Legal Issues Project at the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law, UNSW Faculty of Law and Justice and was the Director of the Centre from 2014 to 2018. His teaching, research and engagement focuses mainly on constitutional law, native title and Aboriginal land rights. Sean has worked with a variety of Aboriginal organisations before and since joining UNSW, going back to 1994. In 2016-17 he was part of the pro-bono legal team that supported the Regional Dialogues and First Nations Constitutional Convention, the deliberative process which culminated in the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
